Low-Voltage Cable Installer — Entry-Level Helper

CA & TX Full Time $17.00 – $26.00/hr

About the role

We're looking for a motivated entry-level helper to work alongside experienced technicians on low-voltage installations. Hands-on training provided — no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

Assist with pulling, routing, and securing low-voltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, coax, fiber)
Support installation of data & voice cabling, security cameras (CCTV), access control, fire alarm, and AV systems
Help mount equipment, racks, and cable pathways
Label, terminate, and test cables under supervision
Maintain clean and organized job sites
Follow all safety procedures and job site rules
Transport tools, materials, and equipment as needed

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
No prior experience required — we train the right person
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders
Comfortable in ceilings, crawl spaces, and construction environments
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
Strong work ethic, reliability, willingness to learn

Certifications
